Our Sustainability Journey
Since the establishment of Auspicious Soul Art in 2022, our commitment to sustainability has been unwavering. As a small and emerging business, we have been presented with both opportunities and challenges in our quest for sustainability. With access to sustainable resources and a genuine passion for the environment, we are constantly striving to make eco-conscious choices.
Pottery & Poetry
From the outset, we have prioritised sustainability in our production processes. Our handmade ceramic candles are crafted using European made eco-friendly, plant-based beeswax, while our poetry is printed on handmade acid-free organic paper sourced from recycled cotton shirts finished with a traditional hand-printing technique from the Netherlands.
Feel-Good Frames
After thorough research and deliberation, in January 2024, we partnered with Wim, a Dutch woodworker known for his impeccable craftsmanship and commitment to sustainable practices. Wim exclusively uses wood from fallen trees in the local region, ensuring that no trees are cut down for the production of our frames. Each piece is meticulously handcrafted from solid oak wood, creating durable and exquisite frames that reflect our dedication to sustainability.
Cartons & crystals
Additionally, our passe-partouts and cartons, where the crystals are displayed, are made from 100% natural cellulose renewable fibre. While we make every effort to ethically source our crystals, the lack of an official ethics code in the industry presents its challenges. Nevertheless, we will continue to choose our crystals intuitively and consciously.

For the year 2025, we have decided to partner with Life Terra. Their mission is to unite individuals in planting 500 million trees across Europe, using nature's own carbon capture system to combat the climate crisis.
Although we only use wood from trees that have naturally fallen, we are committed to giving back to the environment. With each crystal grid you buy, you get to choose from 10 European countries to adopt your tree. Life Terra will handle the planting and monitoring of your tree, as well as provide education and establish a community for all of us.

In our pursuit of sustainability, we prioritise specific Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set by the United Nations. These goals guide our actions towards ending poverty, protecting the planet, and promoting peace and prosperity for all by 2030. While we aspire to uphold all SDGs, our current focus areas include;
